My Story
Thank you for your interest in Scentsy and our story!! It all began for us about 10 years ago, when I was looking purchase Scentsy for our home. At the time, Harlynn was 8 months old and I knew I needed Scentsy because it was the safest alternative to candles. I did my research and discovered *Scentsy* had THE strongest scents, THE highest quality warmers and overall top value for your money in the fragrance market. I approached Jon's cousin, Chase about buying and she said,"We can join for only $99 and buy it from ourselves!" So, as an entrepreneur even then, that's exactly what we did in August 2011. The best $99 I ever spent! I have been on this incredible journey and owe it all to that moment. After 10 years of this roller coaster ride, never giving up, now I am a Star Director and Chase is my Super Star Director and my best friend; she has been by my side, encouraging me through everything all because *Scentsy* brought us together.
When I joined, Jon was on a military deployment, so I dedicated plenty of time to learning the business and products right away. I dove right in and loved it! I shared Scentsy with all my co -workers, family and friends and my small business took off. That following summer after we had a blast at our first, all-inclusive FREE trip to Punta Cana, we attended our first Scentsy Family Reunion in Las Vegas and our minds were blown away. The opportunity Scentsy gives is limitless and we felt the love, excitement, and joy from our fellow Scentsy Sisters and most importantly from the CEOs, Heidi and Orville. There was so much passion and hope and we just wanted to be a part of it; we vowed to do it together, never really knowing we would actually make our dream happen.
I am so proud to say, after working hard and remaining dedicated, I have earned my 11th prestigious, all-inclusive trip with *Scentsy* Family! I’ve been to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic staying at the Hard Rock Hotel, Whistler, British Columbia Four Seasons Hotel, St. Louis Reunion and the Adventures of the Sea Caribbean Cruise where I visited 6 countries! In June 2018, I earned and went on my 2nd FREE cruise to the Mediterranean! It was a trip of a lifetime with Scentsy and my best friends! Needless to say, we had a BLAST!
Every summer my group of inspiring ladies get together to attend our Scentsy Family Reunions. Each year it is somewhere new and in the past 8 years we have been to Indianapolis, IN 2013, St. Louis, MO 2014, Las Vegas, NV in 2012 and 2015, Nashville, TN 2016, and Kansas City, MO 2017, Anaheim, CA in 2018 for huge our DISNEY partnership and then just this past summer Austin, TX! Year after year I’ve learned how important attending reunion is and it is truly an amazing time I look forward to with my best friend and team. It is always a seriously exciting week!

Each month I make extra money to help support my family’s income and currently have a thriving team of over 1400 women!! When I resigned from the Navy in June 2012, it was very difficult to find a corporate job that met my family’s needs. Because of *Scentsy* I work from home and take care of my two children all with a flexible schedule. Spring 2020, during the covid crisis, I promoted to Star Director, second from the TOP and have remained very successful, many thanks to my team and customer's support. I love that I am my own boss who has the privilege of sharing this amazing company with everyone, anywhere I go. Leading, training and mentoring my team members and new recruits is what I love to do. It has been a great reward in networking, building friendships and even proved fun to work with family members. My husband and kids love *Scentsy* just as much as I do and are so supportive of our business. Since starting *Scentsy*, we have moved five times! We were very fortunate to have lived overseas in Spain but we are so happy to back home. We are currently in Tennessee. I have been blessed beyond measure to be able to continue my business with success everywhere we have lived.
Looking to the future, we have just left beautiful Coronado, CA and are on a new journey to retirement and a different chapter in the country. We are so excited that our journey never ends and we can’t wait to see what new adventures lay ahead. Our business is officially international with 1 representative in Spain, spreading the love there and I am ecstatic to continue to grow!! I can never explain enough about the exceptional quality in our Body and Home lines, they are a must-try. Our most popular, leading the market 4 years in a row, is our Diffuser Fragrance System. It has unmatched technology that includes an ultrasonic nebulizer diffuser, and comes with a lifetime warranty, which has shocked even our worse critics. Many from other Essential Oil Companies are buying them up!! *Scentsy* Diffusers are now even better! We offer 9 beautiful styles, with new stained-glass shades.
